PM Modi To Chair High-Level Review Meeting With Top Bureaucrats Today

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to chair a high-level review meeting with the Secretaries of all Central Ministries and departments on Tuesday.

The deliberations will examine the implementation of key policy initiatives while reinforcing the government’s commitment to building a developed India through the Viksit Bharat vision.

The meeting will centre on efforts to improve the country’s Ease of Doing Business and Ease of Living by streamlining regulations and enhancing the efficiency of government functioning.

Senior bureaucrats will present detailed reports outlining the progress their Ministries have made in implementing reforms and development programmes.

The meeting will begin at 4:30 PM and mark Prime Minister Modi’s second extensive interaction with the nation’s top civil servants, enabling him to assess ongoing policy implementation and governance priorities.

Officials will also review the progress of structural reforms, identify implementation challenges, and propose measures to strengthen coordination among Ministries.

The objective is to ensure timely delivery of government programmes while reducing regulatory bottlenecks and improving public service delivery.

The review assumes greater importance as the Centre continues to roll out the ’52 Reforms in 52 Weeks’ programme across several Ministries, including the Ministry of Railways.

The government launched the initiative to deliver measurable reforms within fixed timelines and advance the broader goals of Atmanirbhar Bharat and Viksit Bharat.

Prime Minister Modi has consistently underlined the need for accountability and result-oriented governance, with regular reviews forming a key part of the government’s administrative approach.

The review comes shortly after the Prime Minister concluded his three-day State visit to Seychelles.

Before departing for New Delhi, PM Modi interacted with members of the Indian community who had gathered at the airport to bid him farewell and paid floral tributes at the Mahatma Gandhi statue located at Peace Park.
