During a massive public gathering in his parliamentary constituency of Varanasi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched a scathing attack on dynastic political parties.
He accused the Opposition of prioritizing power for their families over the interests of the people, asserting that the BJP stands firmly for ‘Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas’.
“We believe in working for everyone’s welfare, while their motto is ‘Parivar ka Saath, Parivar ka Vikas’,” said PM Modi, drawing a sharp contrast between his party’s ideology and that of the Opposition.
As part of his 50th visit to Varanasi since taking office, PM Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone for 44 developmental projects, totaling ₹3,880 crore.
These initiatives span across urban and rural areas, aiming to modernize infrastructure and improve services such as water supply, road networks, healthcare, and education.
The Prime Minister emphasized the transformative journey of Varanasi, stating that the region is evolving into a health capital in Purvanchal, thanks to new hospitals and medical infrastructure.
PM Modi highlighted the success of the Ayushman Bharat scheme, especially the newly introduced Ayushman Vaya Vandana Yojana for senior citizens.
He shared a personal moment, recalling how he handed out new health cards to elderly citizens and felt moved by their satisfaction.
“This scheme is more than just free treatment; it’s about restoring dignity and trust to the poor and elderly,” he said.
PM Modi further added that healthcare in Eastern Uttar Pradesh, once neglected, is now receiving national-level attention.
Reflecting on the past ten years, PM Modi reminded the audience of the dire state of medical facilities before 2014 and credited his government for bringing top-tier healthcare to the doorsteps of the poor.
“Earlier, people had to travel to Delhi or Mumbai for quality treatment. Now, these facilities are available closer to home. That is true development,” he declared.
The Prime Minister affirmed that the newly launched projects will drive economic activity and significantly improve the quality of life in Varanasi and neighboring regions.
He ended his address by reiterating his commitment to serve the people and fulfill the guarantees made under his leadership.
“Your trust is my strength, and your blessings are my responsibility,” PM Modi concluded, reinforcing the BJP’s vision of inclusive and transformative governance.
