PM Modi Slams Congress For Corruption & Opportunism In Doda Rally

Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered a robust critique of the Congress party during his inaugural election rally in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir, ahead of the upcoming three-phase polls.

PM Modi condemned Congress for its allegations and claimed that the party’s intentions are rooted in corruption and political opportunism.

Addressing a large crowd at the BJP rally, PM Modi fired back at Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge’s recent remarks, where Kharge claimed that if Congress had won 20 more seats in the Lok Sabha elections, BJP leaders, including PM Modi, would be in jail.

PM Modi stated, “See their arrogance… The Congress President said if the Congress had won another 20 seats during the Lok Sabha elections, they would put BJP leaders including Modi in jail. I want to ask the Congress, do they fight elections to put people in jail? Is this your only agenda? 2014, 2019, and 2024. After 60 years, the country’s people have, three times, given us an opportunity to serve them. We run the government to crush corruption in the country. We run the government for the welfare of the common man of the country. Whenever there is no positive approach, then they have no agenda but to put people in jail. They should have talked something about the welfare of J&K but only talked about sending people to jail.”

“We fight elections for the country’s honour and development and whenever I would alert people against the intentions of the Congress leaders, the Congress would mock me and also hurl abuses at me,” the Prime Minister asserted.

PM Modi Slams Congress As ‘Most Corrupt’ At Doda Rally

Describing Congress as the most dishonest and misleading political force in India, PM Modi accused the Gandhis of being the most corrupt politicians in the country.

He highlighted the current issues in Congress-ruled states, particularly Himachal Pradesh, where he claimed that false promises and administrative inefficiencies have led to economic stagnation, high prices, and irregular government employee salaries.

PM Modi also accused the Congress, National Conference, and Peoples Democratic Party of disrespecting Jammu and Kashmir’s late Maharaja Hari Singh, which he argued was an insult to the people of the Jammu division.

Concluding his address, PM Modi urged voters to support BJP candidates and expressed his solidarity with them by joining them on stage.
