PM Modi Shares Bhagavad Gita Message On Humility, Forgiveness And Nation-Building

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday shared a message based on Verse 16.3 of the Bhagavad Gita, underlining qualities that define noble character and responsible citizenship.

Through a post accompanied by a 63-second animated video, PM Modi described virtues such as tejas (radiance), kshama (forgiveness), dhriti (firmness), shaucha (purity), adroha (absence of hostility), and natimanita (freedom from arrogance) as essential values for personal growth and national progress.

The animated presentation displayed the Sanskrit verse along with Hindi and English interpretations. It visually explained how ethical discipline and humility contribute to building a stronger and more developed India.

PM Modi connected these spiritual teachings with the broader vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’. He stressed that sincere dedication, moral conduct, and selfless commitment remain crucial for achieving collective national advancement.

The Prime Minister’s message encouraged citizens to adopt integrity, compassion, patience, and discipline in daily life.

The video further illustrated that true leadership emerges through humility rather than pride or aggression.

Shared on May 29, 2026, the post generated widespread public engagement across social media platforms.

Several users responded with scriptural references, messages of appreciation, and discussions surrounding the relevance of ancient wisdom in modern governance and nation-building.

The communication also reinforced the government’s continuing emphasis on cultural heritage and value-driven leadership.

PM Modi frequently references Indian philosophical traditions while addressing themes linked to development, social harmony, and civic responsibility.

The message presented spiritual principles not merely as religious teachings, but as practical guidance for strengthening society and contributing towards India’s long-term growth ambitions.
