Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Bihar on Sunday for an intensive one-day election campaign, featuring a grand roadshow in Patna and two major public rallies earlier in the day.
The Prime Minister will address two consecutive rallies, the first in Arrah at 1:30 PM, followed by another in Nawada at 3:30 PM. Officials have planned a series of public engagements as he returns to Patna around 5 PM.
Upon arrival, PM Modi will pay floral tribute to poet Rashtrakavi Ramdhari Singh Dinkar at 5:25 PM, before launching into a high-profile roadshow at 5:30 PM in support of NDA candidates.
Later in the evening, around 6:45 PM, the Prime Minister will visit the Takht Sri Harimandir Sahib Gurudwara in Patna City to offer prayers.
The Patna roadshow, regarded as the highlight of the visit, will begin from Dinkar Golambar and pass through Nala Road, Thakurwadi, and Bakarganj.
The Patna Traffic Police have issued an advisory announcing traffic restrictions from 2 PM to 7 PM on several key routes, including Dinkar Golambar to Nala Road, Machhua Toli to Bari Path, Hathua Market to Bakarganj, and adjoining areas. Authorities will permit only emergency and authorised vehicles during this period.
Authorities have designated multiple parking sites for attendees at Gandhi Maidan, Patna Science College, Patna College, Moin-ul-Haq Stadium, and Shakha Maidan. Police have urged citizens to use alternative routes and cooperate with security personnel to ensure smooth movement.
Sunday is shaping up to be a high-energy political day in Bihar, with several national leaders on the campaign trail. Alongside PM Modi’s events, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold rallies in Muzaffarpur and Vaishali, while Rahul Gandhi and Tejashwi Yadav will campaign across Begusarai, Khagaria, Munger, Patna, Vaishali, and Saran.
With multiple powerhouses canvassing across the state, Bihar braces for an action-packed day of electioneering and political spectacle.
