PM Modi Says Operation Sindoor Disturbed Pakistan’s Sleep; Praises Brave Soldiers

Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Independence Day that Operation Sindoor has disrupted Pakistan’s sleep, delivering a strong message after the Pahalgam terror attack.

Speaking from the Red Fort, he stated that the destruction inflicted was immense, with new information emerging daily.

PM Modi emphasised that India would no longer tolerate nuclear blackmail and vowed that any further misadventures by adversaries would meet a befitting response.

“This August 15 is special because I had the opportunity to salute the valiant soldiers of Operation Sindoor,” PM said. “Our brave soldiers delivered a punishment beyond the enemy’s imagination. The horrors in Pahalgam angered every Indian, and Operation Sindoor expressed that anger.”

The Prime Minister highlighted the freedom given to the Armed Forces to strategise, select targets, and decide the timing of the operation.

“Our forces set a precedent unseen for decades, striking hundreds of kilometres into enemy territory and turning terrorist headquarters to dust,” he said.

Pakistan’s Sleep Still Disturbed

PM Modi underscored the ongoing impact of the operation.

“Pakistan’s sleep is still disturbed. The devastation has been so massive that new revelations are emerging every day,” he said.

He also reaffirmed India’s firm stance against terrorism, “Terrorists and those who shelter them will no longer be seen separately. They pose an equal danger to humanity.”

Hoisting the national flag at the Red Fort, PM Modi spoke about the broader significance of Independence Day.

“This great festival of freedom is a festival of 140 crore resolutions. Every heart is filled with enthusiasm, and the nation continues to strengthen its spirit of unity.”

He connected the military achievement to India’s broader strategic vision, emphasising that the country’s Armed Forces are ready to protect its sovereignty and citizens.

“India has set a new normal. He said that India’s military stands ready to meet any threat to peace and security decisively.”

PM Modi’s address reflected national pride and strategic determination.

By honouring the soldiers of Operation Sindoor, he reinforced India’s message of resilience, courage, and unwavering commitment to counter terrorism while celebrating the collective achievements of the nation on its 79th Independence Day.
