PM Modi Questions Potential Conspiracy Behind Naveen Patnaik’s Health, Criticizes BJD Government In Odisha

In preparation for the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, Prime Minister Narendra Modi conducted rallies across several states today. In the afternoon, he arrived in Odisha, where he scrutinized the state government led by Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. During a public meeting in Mayurbhanj, Odisha, PM Modi raised concerns about Patnaik’s health and questioned the transparency of the state’s government schemes.

Addressing the crowd in Mayurbhanj, PM Modi said, “Today, not only Odisha but the entire nation wants to know where the key to the Ratna Bhandar has gone. Whose name is in the investigation report that was conducted? I assure the residents of Odisha that we will expose what the BJD government is hiding once the BJP government is formed in Odisha.”

He further commented on Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik’s health, stating, “Friends, many well-wishers of Naveen Babu are very worried these days. They are upset to see how his health has deteriorated so suddenly over the past year. People close to Naveen Babu have expressed their concerns to me, suggesting that there might be a conspiracy behind his declining health. Is there a conspiracy behind Naveen Babu’s deteriorating health?”

PM Modi asserted that the BJP government will come to power in Odisha after June 10, saying, “The people of Odisha have the right to know whether the lobby that wields power behind the scenes in the name of Naveen Babu is involved in this. It is essential to uncover this mystery. Shouldn’t the curtain be lifted? A special committee will be formed by the BJP government in Odisha to investigate why Naveen Babu’s health is suddenly deteriorating. All the facts will be uncovered.”

PM Modi also criticized the state government’s lack of progress in irrigation, remarking, “Friends, Odisha has ample water, especially flowing through tribal areas, but you still lack irrigation facilities. The BJD government has not undertaken any major irrigation projects in the past 25 years. Previous central governments also stalled irrigation projects. The Suvarna Rekha project, for instance, was delayed since 1970. However, when you gave me the chance to serve, we initiated an agricultural irrigation scheme and have already completed five major projects. The double engine government will expedite the completion of these irrigation projects. This is the Modi government, which introduced express trains in Badam Pahad after 100 years, but the BJD government is hindering further rail projects. Once the BJP government is formed, rail connectivity will be enhanced.”

Highlighting the future potential of the region, PM Modi stated, “Brothers and sisters, the future belongs to Odisha. The future belongs to Eastern India. I am here to seek your blessings to ensure that all our BJP candidates win and reach Bhubaneswar. I urge all our MLA candidates to come forward. Our colleague Navcharan Majhi from Mayurbhanj should also be sent to Delhi with record votes. I will now go among them for a moment before continuing my speech.”
