PM Modi In Dubai: Addressing the inaugural session of the COP28 summit in Dubai, PM Modi on Friday said that India has offered to host COP33 in 2028. He said that India contributes less than 4 percent to global carbon emissions. He said that India has presented a model of development to the world by striking a perfect balance between ecology and economy.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who arrived in Dubai on Friday for the COP28 summit, said he is looking forward to meaningful dialogue and cooperation for a sustainable future. Modi was warmly welcomed by UAE President Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan and UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres at the venue.
PM Modi met Netherlands Prime Minister Mark Rutte in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. PM Modi wrote in an ex-post, “It is always refreshing to exchange views with my friend Mark Rutte of the Netherlands.” After reaching Dubai, PM Modi is sharing the information about there on his X account. COP28 is the 28th meeting of the United Nations on climate issues.
