PM Modi Outlines Economic Thrust During Rajya Sabha Address

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, addressing the Rajya Sabha during the Motion of Thanks to the President’s address, articulated the economic policy priorities of the BJP-led government on Wednesday.

Emphasizing a vision of rapid transformation and technological integration across sectors, PM Modi projected India’s ascent to becoming the world’s third-largest economy as a catalyst for global impact.

Highlighting India’s economic progress, PM Modi noted, “Our economy has advanced from the 10th position globally to the fifth, and we now aim to achieve the third position.”

He underscored the mandate received from the electorate to propel India towards the goals of Viksit Bharat & Atmanirbhar Bharat.

The Prime Minister underscored the significance of continued governmental stewardship, stating, “The return of our government for a third term strengthens our commitment to these objectives.”

He cited achievements such as the PM-Kisan scheme, which has benefited over 10 crore farmers, contrasting it with the UPA’s loan waiver that reached only 3 crore farmers.

Addressing agricultural reforms, PM Modi highlighted the government’s efforts in bolstering the sector through meticulous planning from farm to market.

He attributed the support received from the electorate to the BJP-led NDA government’s accomplishments over the past decade.

PM Modi’s address in the Rajya Sabha resonated with a forward-looking economic agenda, setting the stage for comprehensive reforms aimed at enhancing India’s global economic stature and reinforcing domestic developmental objectives.
