PM Modi Orchestrates AI Summit To Elevate India’s Innovation Edge

Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with top CEOs and AI experts at his residence at Lok Kalyan Marg on Thursday. The meeting aimed to strengthen collaborations, highlight innovations, and accelerate India’s ambitions in artificial intelligence.

The CEOs expressed robust support for India’s goal of achieving self-reliance in AI technology.

They praised government initiatives and investments, positioning India as a global AI leader.

Prime Minister Modi underscored the importance of integrating advanced technology into all sectors for national growth.

He urged the adoption of indigenous solutions across critical industries to ensure technological sovereignty.

Discussing the upcoming IndiaAI Impact Summit in February, the Prime Minister encouraged participants to explore new opportunities, scale innovations, and drive India’s AI agenda forward.

The Prime Minister noted that India had already demonstrated its technological capabilities through UPI and suggested replicating this success in AI.

Driving Indigenous AI Innovation

Highlighting India’s unique strengths, PM Modi said the country’s scale, diversity, and democratic framework make its digital infrastructure trustworthy worldwide.

He emphasised the vision of ‘AI for All’. He stressed that technology must create a measurable impact and inspire global innovation.

PM Modi called for a secure, transparent, and impartial AI ecosystem. He insisted that ethical use of AI must remain uncompromised.

He highlighted the importance of AI skilling. The Prime Minister stressed talent development to maintain India’s competitive edge.

The roundtable included CEOs from Wipro, TCS, HCL Tech, Zoho Corporation, and LTI Mindtree.

“Leaders from Jio Platforms, AdaniConnex, Nxtra Data, and Netweb Technologies attended the roundtable. They participated in discussions on AI innovation and strategy.

Experts from IIIT Hyderabad, IIT Madras, and IIT Bombay participated, alongside Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw and Minister of State Jitin Prasada.

PM Modi concluded by urging industry leaders to make India a preferred destination for global AI initiatives.

The Prime Minister called for leveraging indigenous technology and fostering innovation. He urged building an AI ecosystem that reflects India’s values and ethics.

The discussion reinforced India’s commitment to ethical, secure, and homegrown AI leadership. It positioned the nation as a global technology hub.
