Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi celebrated a significant milestone on Wednesday, marking 15 years on YouTube. During the YouTube Fanfest India 2023 event, he addressed a virtual gathering of around 5,000 content creators, emphasizing his common ground with them.
PM Modi’s YouTube channel boasts 17.9 million subscribers, and he acknowledged the profound impact content creators have on the Indian audience. He expressed a shared mission with the YouTube community to bring about transformation in India.
The Prime Minister highlighted his YouTube content, particularly focusing on addressing students on topics like managing exam stress and enhancing productivity. He also touched upon key initiatives like “Swachh Bharat,” digital payments, and “Vocal for Local,” urging content creators to promote these causes through informative videos.
PM Modi encouraged content creators to emotionally appeal to the nation to support products that represent India’s heritage and labor. He shared tips for creating engaging content, including posing questions and providing action points to encourage active involvement.
In a humorous note, he quipped that he would also repeat the content creators’ phrase, “Subscribe to my channel and hit the bell icon to receive all my updates.”
