PM Modi, Leaders Pay Tribute To Guru Gobind Singh On Parkash Utsav

Prime Minister Narendra Modi led the nation in paying tribute to Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji on his sacred Parkash Utsav, honouring the tenth Sikh Guru’s unparalleled courage, compassion, and dedication to justice.

In a message on a social media platform, the Prime Minister highlighted how the Guru’s life and teachings continue to guide generations in standing for righteousness and protecting human dignity.

“Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s vision continues to guide generations towards service and selfless duty,” PM Modi wrote, emphasising that Guru Gobind Singh Ji’s vision continues to inspire service and selfless duty.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah also paid tribute to the Guru’s supreme sacrifices. He referred to the sacrifices of his four sons, Mata Gujri Ji, and his own life for faith and humanity.

Shah noted that the establishment of the Khalsa Panth strengthened Sikhism as a pillar of service and protection for society. He added that the Panj Pyare symbolise the safeguarding of human welfare.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari extended his greetings, praising the Guru’s enduring thoughts and life as a source of inspiration for centuries.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath joined other leaders in recalling the Guru’s legacy of bravery and sacrifice. He also highlighted the Guru’s steadfast commitment to truth and justice.

Legacy of the Tenth Sikh Guru

Born in 1666, Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji played a crucial role in shaping Sikh identity and values.

As the founder of the Khalsa Panth, he emphasised equality, courage, and selfless service. His teachings inspired followers to resist tyranny and injustice. His teachings continue to resonate across generations, reinforcing ideals of faith, sacrifice, and humanitarian service.

Devotees across the country observe Parkash Utsav with prayers, kirtans, and tributes. It reflects the enduring influence of one of India’s greatest spiritual and moral leaders.
