Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended warm birthday wishes to Union Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Dr Virendra Kumar, recognising his dedication to societal progress and upliftment of marginalised communities.

Born in 1954, Dr Virendra Kumar serves as Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment under PM Modi. He drives policies for the upliftment and empowerment of marginalised communities across India.
Representing Madhya Pradesh’s Tikamgarh (SC) Lok Sabha constituency, he has served multiple terms since 1996, focusing on social welfare, inclusion, and schemes for underprivileged groups.
