PM Modi Launches Verbal Assault on Opposition, TMC in West Bengal Election Rally

The political fervour across the nation is intensifying as the Lok Sabha elections draw nearer. All political parties are leaving no stone unturned in their efforts to secure power. In this vein, Prime Minister Modi addressed an election rally in Cooch Behar, West Bengal, today, March 4th, conducting a lengthy road-show that drew thousands of eager spectators hoping to catch a glimpse of him.

During his address at the rally, PM Modi launched a scathing attack on the opposition and the Trinamool Congress (TMC), accusing them of engaging in politics of falsehoods and rumours. He asserted, “The alliance between TMC, Left, and Congress is solely focused on spreading lies and misinformation. They never paid heed to the interests of the Matua, Rajbanshi, and Namashudra communities. However, when the BJP government introduced the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA), they began spreading rumours. I guarantee citizenship to every family that believes in the spirit of Mother India.”

PM Modi also criticized TMC for allegedly prioritizing the protection of accused individuals. He highlighted the cases of atrocities against women in Sandeshkhali and the attack on the Enforcement Directorate (ED), stating, “Only the BJP can prevent such atrocities against our mothers and sisters here. The entire Bengal, indeed the entire nation, witnessed how the TMC government exerted its full force to shield the perpetrators in Sandeshkhali. The plight of the women in Sandeshkhali epitomizes the height of TMC’s tyranny.”
