PM Modi Hosts Breakfast Meeting With 37 BJP MPs During Monsoon Session

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Wednesday hosted a breakfast meeting with 37 Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Members of Parliament at his official residence as part of his continued outreach to lawmakers during the ongoing Monsoon Session of Parliament.

The informal interaction formed part of the Prime Minister’s regular engagement with different groups of BJP MPs to exchange views, review governance matters, discuss parliamentary affairs and strengthen organisational coordination within the party.

According to sources, PM Modi shared personal experiences with the attending parliamentarians and held informal discussions on a wide range of subjects during the breakfast interaction.

The meeting was attended by BJP MPs associated with the NCPI alliance, former Aam Aadmi Party leaders who later joined the BJP, senior BJP leaders Tarun Chugh, Vinod Tawde, BJP chief Nitin Nabin and other parliamentarians.

The interaction took place amid the ongoing Monsoon Session, during which the government continues to advance its legislative agenda while maintaining regular engagement with lawmakers outside Parliament.

Prime Minister Modi has consistently organised similar breakfast meetings during successive Parliament sessions. These interactions allow MPs to present constituency feedback, discuss policy matters, parliamentary strategy and governance issues directly with the Prime Minister in an informal environment.

The Monsoon Session, which commenced on July 20, will continue until August 13 with 19 sittings.

Before the session began, PM Modi had urged all political parties to ensure constructive debates and the smooth functioning of Parliament, emphasising that meaningful discussions remain essential for national development.

The current session has witnessed deliberations on key government Bills, economic policy, public examinations and national security, while Opposition protests have disrupted proceedings in both Houses on several occasions.
