Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday extended birthday greetings to Union Minister Jitan Ram Manjhi, praising his long public career and efforts to empower the poor and underprivileged.
PM Modi said Manjhi has consistently worked for disadvantaged sections and played an important role in strengthening the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME) sector. He also prayed for Manjhi’s long life and good health.

The Prime Minister also highlighted Manjhi’s contribution to the MSME sector, describing it as crucial to making India prosperous and self-reliant.
Manjhi, a Member of Parliament from Gaya, serves as the Union Minister for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises. He served as Bihar Chief Minister from May 20, 2014, to February 20, 2015, and is the founding president of the Hindustani Awam Morcha.
Union Home Minister Amit Shah also extended birthday wishes to Manjhi, praising his efforts to accelerate the MSME sector and empower entrepreneurs.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath wished Manjhi good health and a long and distinguished life, while Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis also conveyed his birthday greetings.
Union Education Minister Pralhad Joshi wished Manjhi good health, happiness and continued success in public service.
Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also greeted Manjhi and highlighted his long public career and work for disadvantaged and working-class communities.
