On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi extended his heartfelt greetings to the nation on the occasion of Ram Navami, the festival marking the birth of Lord Shri Ram.
PM Modi expressed hope that the auspicious day would inspire a renewed sense of consciousness and energy across the country.
In a message shared via social media platform X, PM Modi conveyed his best wishes to citizens, writing, “Many best wishes to all countrymen on Ram Navami. May this holy occasion of the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Ram bring new consciousness and new enthusiasm in your life, which will constantly provide new energy to the resolve of a strong, prosperous and capable India. Jai Shri Ram!”
Later, PM Modi shared his plans to visit Tamil Nadu on Ram Navami, revealing that he would be in Rameswaram later in the day.

“Looking forward to being in Rameswaram later today!” he wrote on X, outlining his commitment to the region’s spiritual and infrastructural growth.
As part of his Ram Navami celebrations, PM Modi will inaugurate the new Pamban Rail Bridge in Rameswaram.
This key infrastructure project will enhance connectivity between the Indian mainland and the island, benefiting local communities and boosting economic growth in the region.
In an earlier post, the Prime Minister shared, “Tomorrow, 6th April, on the very auspicious occasion of Ram Navami, I look forward to being among my sisters and brothers of Tamil Nadu. The new Pamban Rail Bridge will be inaugurated. I will pray at the Sri Arulmigu Ramanathaswamy Temple.”
PM Modi’s visit will also include the foundation stone-laying ceremony for various development projects worth Rs 8,300 crore in Tamil Nadu.
This move underscores the government’s focus on both spiritual and infrastructural progress in the state.
This marks a significant moment for the Prime Minister, as he continues his diplomatic tour following a trip to Sri Lanka and his participation in the BIMSTEC summit in Thailand.
