PM Modi Extends Greetings Before Unveiling Rajasthan’s Mega Infrastructure & Development Projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday greeted the people of Rajasthan, particularly residents of Jaipur, ahead of his official visit, during which he will inaugurate and lay the foundation stones for several landmark development projects.

Through a series of posts on X, he highlighted initiatives spanning energy, aviation, urban infrastructure, semiconductors and transport.

He said these projects would strengthen India’s journey towards self-reliance while accelerating economic growth.

Congratulating Jaipur residents, the Prime Minister announced that the second phase of the Jaipur Metro Rail Project would commence with the laying of its foundation stone.

The new corridor will connect key residential and industrial areas, improving urban mobility and supporting the city’s expanding infrastructure.

PM Modi also outlined several transport projects scheduled for dedication.

These include the Churu-Sadulpur and Churu-Ratangarh railway doubling projects, the four-laning of National Highway-125A and Jodhpur Ring Road Section-2 connecting Karwar and Dangiyawas.

Highlighting Balotra’s significance, the Prime Minister stated on X that works worth more than Rs. 1.06 lakh crore would be inaugurated or launched.

He said the integrated refinery-cum-petrochemical complex at Pachpadra would strengthen India’s energy and petrochemical sectors while generating substantial employment opportunities.

Focusing on Jodhpur, PM Modi announced the inauguration of the city’s new airport terminal building. He said the upgraded facility would attract more tourists and stimulate commercial activity.

PM Modi also confirmed the launch of the Modified UDAN Scheme from Jodhpur, which aims to enhance regional air connectivity by developing 100 aerodromes from existing unserved airstrips and increasing operational and maintenance support.
