Rahul Gandhi was born on June 19, 1970, at Delhi’s Holy Family Hospital.
He is the eldest child of former Prime Minister Rajiv Gandhi and Congress Parliamentary Party Chairperson Sonia Gandhi.
He hails from a prominent political lineage—grandson of Indira Gandhi and great-grandson of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first PM.
His paternal grandfather, Feroze Gandhi, was a Parsi from Gujarat.
To mark Rahul Gandhi’s birthday, IYC organised a major job fair at Delhi’s Talkatora Stadium.
The event is hosting over 100 companies and multinational firms, offering more than 5,000 job opportunities across sectors.
According to IYC, the fair aims to directly connect young job seekers with employers, providing them with meaningful employment opportunities.
The initiative further aligns with Gandhi’s consistent focus on youth empowerment and job creation.
