PM Narendra Modi made a telephonic conversation with the CM of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu and CM of Telangana Revanth Reddy. He reached out amid flood like situation in AP and Telangana due to heavy rainfall.
The heavy downpour in the region has caused flood like situation in AP and Telangana leading to public life disorder. Notably, cities like Vijayawada has succumbed to full-fledged flood. PM Modi reached out to the CMs of both the states to enquire about the deteriorating situation on the ground.
In addition, PM has assured both the states of all possible support from the center.

Informing about the worsening condition in state and rescue and relief efforts, Telangana CM Revanth Reddy informed PM. He said that the state government is putting all possible efforts while ensuring no harm to lives and belongings of the citizens. He further expressed the concern over flood condition in Khammam as the district is among the worst hit.
“CM Chandrababu Naidu explained about the ongoing flood relief work while PM Modi told him that central government departments concerned have been directed to extend necessary help to the state,” said an official statement released by the state government late Sunday.
Assuring of full support PM Modi said that center will provide all possible help and aid. A source reveal that PM have said that departments have already been instructed to dispatch all necessary relief and equipment. The source further confirmed that CMs of both the states expressed their gratitude for PM’s call.
