PM Modi Calls Himself Party Worker; Says Nitin Nabin Is His Boss

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Nitin Nabin on his election as the Bharatiya Janata Party’s National President, remarking that while Nabin would now be his ‘boss’, he himself would remain a ‘worker’ of the party.

The Prime Minister was addressing party leaders and workers at the BJP headquarters in New Delhi during the conclusion of the organisational election process.

The party elected Nitin Nabin as BJP National President during Sangathan Parv, making him the youngest leader to hold the post.

Senior leaders, including JP Nadda, Rajnath Singh, Amit Shah, and Nitin Gadkari, felicitated him.

PM Modi said the party’s months-long organisational elections showcased the BJP’s democratic ethos.

He described the process as a symbol of the party’s organisational discipline and worker-centric approach, congratulating party workers across the country for its successful completion.

The Prime Minister said the BJP leadership follows tradition, draws strength from experience, and serves the nation and the public.

“I am first and foremost a BJP worker, and I am proud of it,” he said, drawing loud applause.

PM Modi called Nitin Nabin a ‘millennial’ and said the next 25 years are crucial for building a Viksit Bharat.

He noted Nabin’s blend of youthful energy and organisational experience will benefit the party amid economic, social, and technological change.

Recalling past leaders like Vajpayee, LK Advani, HM Shah, and JP Nadda, PM Modi praised their role in strengthening the BJP from the grassroots to Parliament.

He described the party as a family rooted in process, with changing leadership but constant ideals.

Nabin’s unopposed election by the BJP electoral college reflects the party’s aim to combine youthful leadership with continuity.
