PM Modi Birthday: Union Ministers Extend Greetings, Praise His Leadership

Union Ministers extended birthday wishes to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday, praising his leadership and highlighting India’s development and progress towards the goal of ‘Viksit Bharat’ by 2047.

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said India was moving towards the goal of a developed nation with confidence under PM Modi’s leadership. He highlighted progress in infrastructure, digital connectivity, welfare, innovation and entrepreneurship.

Rajnath Singh said PM Modi had placed good governance and public service at the centre of India’s development journey, while strengthening transparency, accountability and citizen-centric administration. He added that India’s civilisational values and cultural heritage had gained renewed recognition globally.

Health Minister JP Nadda also extended birthday greetings and highlighted India’s economic growth and global standing. He referred to 7.8 per cent GDP growth and India’s role in hosting the BRICS Summit in New Delhi as indicators of a confident and capable nation.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar wished PM Modi success, good health and many more years of public service. He said the Prime Minister continued to inspire people globally through his ideas and achievements.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman also greeted PM Modi, saying he was steering India towards ‘Viksit Bharat’ during challenging global times. She said the government had kept national interest and public welfare at the centre of its decisions.

Union Minister Nitin Gadkari praised PM Modi’s long public service and commitment to the principle of ‘Nation First’. He expressed hope for greater self-reliance and progress under his leadership.

Ashwini Vaishnaw extended birthday greetings to PM Modi and described his dedication to public service as an inspiration, wishing him good health, long life and continued energy.

Piyush Goyal further described PM Modi as a ‘karma yogi’ dedicated to national service and highlighted policies supporting youth, women, farmers, startups and Indian businesses.

Hardeep Singh Puri also highlighted PM Modi’s 25-year public service journey, welfare schemes, development initiatives and reforms in the energy sector.

Jyotiraditya M Scindia said PM Modi had linked India’s development aspirations with those of its citizens and given a new direction to the country’s growth journey.

PM Modi was born on September 17, 1950, in Vadnagar, Gujarat. He became Gujarat Chief Minister in 2001 and has served as Prime Minister since May 2014. He is currently serving his third term, and this year marks 25 years of his public life.
