Opposition leaders across political parties extended birthday greetings to Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday as he turned 76.
Leaders including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Manish Tewari, Akhilesh Yadav, Mayawati, Sharad Pawar and Priyanka Chaturvedi conveyed their wishes and prayed for his good health and long life.
Lok Sabha Leader of Opposition Rahul Gandhi wished PM Modi good health and a long life. Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge also extended his greetings, while Congress MP Manish Tewari wished the Prime Minister on his 76th birthday.

PM Modi’s birthday coincides with the launch of the BJP’s month-long ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’, which will run from September 17 to October 17.
The party announced the campaign to mark 25 years of PM Modi’s public service.
According to BJP president Nitin Nabin, October 7, 2026, will mark 25 years since PM Modi took the oath as Gujarat Chief Minister on October 7, 2001.
The campaign will include public-service activities, exhibitions, seminars and outreach programmes.
The BJP has planned activities across the country during the month-long campaign, linking PM Modi’s birthday with the milestone in his public life.
