PM Modi, Amit Shah Hail BJP-NDA’s Assam Victory And Double-Engine Governance

Prime Minister Narendra Modi welcomed the decisive electoral victory of the BJP in Assam. He described the hat-trick mandate as a reaffirmation of public trust in the double-engine governance under Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma.

Taking to X, PM Modi posted, “Assam blesses BJP-NDA once again! The BJP-NDA’s win in the Assam Vidhan Sabha elections illustrates the unwavering support for our Alliance’s emphasis on development and bringing a positive difference in people’s lives. I thank my sisters and brothers of Assam for the resounding mandate. I also assure them that we will keep working for the state’s transformation.”

Home Minister also lauded the result, calling it a strong endorsement of the double-engine administration led by PM Narendra Modi and Himanta Biswa Sarma.

“The third landslide victory of the NDA in Assam is a testament to people’s unwavering trust in BJP’s double engine government under PM Modi Ji and CM Himanta Biswa Sarma Ji which is turning Assam into a land of hope & development from the land of disturbances,” Shah posted on X.
