PM Modi, Amit Shah Extend Birthday Greetings To Piyush Goyal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday wished Union Minister Piyush Goyal on his birthday and appreciated his role in advancing India’s economic growth.

In a message shared on X, the Prime Minister praised Goyal’s efforts in strengthening the country’s trade and commerce sectors. He noted that the Minister’s work has contributed significantly to promoting self-reliance and enhancing India’s prosperity.

PM Modi also prayed for Goyal’s long life, good health, and continued service to the nation.

Shah said that Goyal’s work as Commerce and Industry Minister has played an important role in advancing Prime Minister Modi’s vision of building a strong and prosperous India.

Piyush Goyal is among the senior-most leaders in the Union Cabinet and has held several significant responsibilities during his political career.

Over the years, Piyush Goyal has overseen many important Ministries and contributed to policy-making across diverse sectors. His responsibilities have included Commerce and Industry, Railways, Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Textiles, Finance, Corporate Affairs, Coal, Power, Mines, and New and Renewable Energy.

Apart from heading key Ministries, Piyush Goyal also served as the Leader of the House in the Rajya Sabha. His long administrative experience has made him a prominent figure in the government’s economic and infrastructure initiatives.
