PM Awas Yojana Transforms Lives In Bihar’s Vaishali; Beneficiaries Thank PM Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s flagship Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY) continues to deliver on its promise of ‘Housing for All’.

In Bihar’s Vaishali district, the scheme has provided several poor families with pucca houses, replacing the mud homes they once lived in.

This transformation has given them a safe, secure and dignified life, offering protection from harsh weather and improving living standards.

Bindeshwar Sahni, one of the beneficiaries, shared his experience, “Earlier, whenever it rained, the whole house would leak, and it was a struggle to protect the children. But thanks to the PM Awas Yojana, we now have a pucca house. Today, my family lives in peace.”

Expressing heartfelt gratitude to Prime Minister Modi, he added, “For poor people like us, this scheme is no less than a blessing. We hope PM Modi ji continues to bring more such initiatives for the needy.”

Life Has Changed Completely: Suresh Sahni

Another beneficiary, Suresh Sahni, received his house under PMAY six years ago.

He recalled, “Our old house was so weak that it couldn’t protect us from rain or cold. But now, everything has changed. The children have a better environment to study, and our family feels secure.”

The impact of the scheme in districts like Vaishali shows how PMAY is more than just a housing programme.

For many, it symbolises dignity, stability, and a new beginning.

By providing safe and affordable homes, the scheme empowers the economically weaker sections and paves the way for improved quality of life in rural India.

As PMAY continues to reach remote regions, its success in Vaishali stands as an example of effective implementation.

Beneficiaries believe the scheme is not just about bricks and mortar but about giving the underprivileged a foundation for a better future.

With continued focus and expansion, the initiative is set to transform countless more lives across the country.
