PM Asserts: ‘I am Modi, Not Just a Distant Figure’ at BJP Parliamentary Gathering

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday attributed the BJP’s resounding victories in three Assembly elections to the combined efforts of party cadre, leaders, and ministers in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, and Chhattisgarh.

Prime Minister Modi declared, “This was not anyone’s personal victory, but a collective victory,” when speaking to the BJP Parliamentary conference on Thursday.

“Don’t put me in a public position by calling me ‘Modi ji.'” “My name is Modi. Don’t think of success in the assembly elections as Modi’s, but rather the victory of the party workers, he declared.

From December 22 to January 25, PM Modi urged all BJP lawmakers and ministers to take part in the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra.

On November 15, Prime Minister Modi inaugurated the Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra from Khunti in Jharkhand. Its goals are to raise public knowledge of government programs and provide individuals with the advantages of important government initiatives in a timely manner.

Subsequently, Union Minister and BJP leader Pralhad Joshi revealed the specifics of the conversation, stating that PM Modi gave the party credit for multiplying its gains in Mizoram and Telangana, as well as in Chhattisgarh, Rajasthan, and MP.

Joshi stated that the PM also issued a call, saying that we must work toward the general development of the four castes that currently exist: women, youth, farmers, and the impoverished.

He said that now the Prime Minister also revealed an intriguing information.

“The BJP got an opportunity to seek repeat mandate 39 times and won victory 22 times, whereas the Congress party faced elections 40 times in states while it was in administration and only succeeded seven times,” Joshi reported the PM as saying.

The BJP’s first meeting of the current Winter Session takes place in the midst of uncertainty surrounding the choice of chief ministers for these three states.

After fighting for nearly 20 years in power, the BJP gained a landslide mandate and secured 163 seats in Madhya Pradesh, with the Congress coming in far behind with 66 seats.

In contrast to several pollsters’ predictions, the Rajasthan vote total showed the BJP poised to assume the government with 115 seats, while the Congress trailed behind with 69 seats.

In Chhattisgarh, out of 90 assembly constituencies, the BJP won 54 and the Congress, 35.

The Congress is now out of power over a sizable portion of the Hindi heartland, so its ambitions for 2024 were severely damaged by the losses it suffered in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, and Chhattisgarh.
