Piyush Goyal Praises PM Modi’s ‘Mann Ki Baat’ For Highlighting Non-Political Issues

Union Minister Piyush Goyal commended Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio programme, ‘Mann Ki Baat’, on Sunday, emphasizing its role in connecting people with non-political topics and broadening their horizons.

Goyal noted, “The connection that PM Modi has with the people is remarkable. He addresses the public not just about government initiatives but also about a range of non-political subjects.”

He highlighted that on the last Sunday of every month, PM Modi shares insights that extend beyond politics. “This initiative aims to enhance the enthusiasm, spirit, and self-confidence of the nation,” Goyal added. He expressed gratitude for the perspectives gained from the programme, which often cover topics overlooked by mainstream media.

First aired on October 3, 2014, ‘Mann Ki Baat’ is set to celebrate its 10th anniversary this week. The programme has become a platform for PM Modi to discuss key national issues and share uplifting stories.

In the 114th episode, PM Modi reflected on the milestone, thanking the millions of listeners who have joined him on this journey. He acknowledged the continuous support and contributions from citizens across the country.

Recalling the programme’s launch during Vijayadashmi, PM Modi pointed out the significance of its anniversary coinciding with the start of Navratri this year. He also countered the notion that only sensational content attracts attention, stating that ‘Mann Ki Baat’ has proven that people crave positive information and inspiring stories.

Describing the 10-year journey as a “garland” of new stories, records, and personalities, PM Modi recognized the collective efforts being made in society through this initiative.
