Gorakhpur : On the auspicious date of Akshaya Tritiya, blessed with self-evident Muhurtas, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath performed Rudrabhishek in the Gorakhnath temple and prayed to Lord Bholenath for the happiness and prosperity of the people of the state.
The CM also extended hearty greetings to all the citizens on Akshaya Tritiya. After offering Vilva leaves, lotus flowers, Durva and many other worship materials to Devadhidev Mahadev, CM Yogi offered milk and fruit juice at the Shaktipeeth on the first floor of the Peethadhishwar residence located in Gorakhnath temple.
He performed Rudrabhishek where learned priests of the Math completed the ritual of Rudrabhishek by chanting the Mahamantras of Rudrashtadhyayi of Shukla Yajurveda Samhita. After Rudrabhishek, the Chief Minister performed Havan and Aarti amidst chanting of Vedic mantras. After the rituals were completed, he wished the people of the state a healthy, happy, prosperous and peaceful life.
Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, while sending best wishes to all the citizens on the occasion of Akshaya Tritiya, wrote on social media platform, “Tribhuvan Swami prays to Lord Shri Vishnu ji and Mother Lakshmi ji that everyone’s life be filled with happiness, peace, prosperity and good health.” He also extended his hearty greetings to the people of the state on the birth anniversary of Lord Shri Parshuram, the eternal symbol of strength and wisdom, who established justice with his knowledge, bravery and power.
Devotees from Maharashtra were thrilled to see CM Yogi. As soon as the eyes of a large group of devotees who had come from Maharashtra to worship Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath was very happy to see Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, who was visiting the Gorakhnath temple complex, hundreds of people present in the group jumped with joy.
