Parliament Winter Session: The winter session of Parliament starts today. The Modi government at the center is going to bring many important bills on this occasion. At the same time, the opposition has also geared up for the winter session. The opposition is prepared to attack the government on many issues. From inflation, unemployment to the Morbi bridge accident in Gujarat, the opposition is readying to attack the government. Meanwhile, the Congress says that the party will not disrupt the proceedings of the House and its entire emphasis will be on the discussion.

Government to bring 16 bills

On the other hand, the government is ready to go for debate on every issue. The Modi government seems prepared to introduce 16 bills in the winter session, in which the Multi-State Cooperative Societies (Amendment) Bill, Trade Marks Amendment Bill, 2022 are considered significant.

Lok Sabha Speaker appeals for cooperation from all

Earlier, on Tuesday, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla appealed to all political parties to cooperate in order to run the proceedings of the House smoothly during the winter session of Parliament. Presiding over the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee of the House on Tuesday evening, a day before the Parliament session, Om Birla appealed to the leaders to cooperate in the smooth functioning of the House. All the leaders present in the meeting assured the Lok Sabha Speaker that they would extend their cooperation and support in the smooth functioning of the Lok Sabha.

Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi, Food Processing Industries Minister Pashupati Kumar Paras, Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal, V. Muraleedharan, Minister of State for Commerce and Industry Anupriya Patel and P.P. Many ministers and MPs including Chaudhary attended.

Whereas, talking about the opposition parties, Adhir Ranjan Chowdhary from Congress, Farooq Abdullah from National Conference, Sudip Bandyopadhyay from TMC, Rajeev Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh from JDU and TR Baalu from DMK and many other opposition MPs were also present in this meeting. Be present during the meeting. Opposition parties assured the Lok Sabha speaker that they would cooperate in smooth running of the proceedings of the House.
