BPSC Protest: Case Against Pappu Yadav, 7 Other For Disrupting Railway Operations In Patna

An FIR has been registered against Rajesh Ranjan alias Pappu Yadav and seven others by the Government Railway Police on Friday. Pappu Yadav and seven others were booked for blocking railway operations at Sachiwalay Halt.

Pappu Yadav and his supporters were charged with hindering the smooth functioning of the train services and vehicular movement which resulted in inconvenience to the public during the protest. As per the reports, they have organised demonstrations without the proper permission of the authorities.

Pappu Yadav And Seven Others Booked

The GRP police station at Patna Junction booked Pappu Yadav, Raju Danveer, Rajiv Mishra, Abhijeet Singh, Faizan Ahmed, Premchand Singh, Suraj, and Purushottam Kumar Singh under the relevant charges.

On Friday, Pappu Yadav and supporters reached the Sachiwalay Halt Railway Station and tried to stop the train while sitting on the track. This move by Pappu Yadav was pre-planned to disrupt the railway operations in support of candidates who have protested to cancel the 70th BPSC Combined Preliminary Examination.

In response to this, the Patna district administration, which anticipated potential disruptions, has deployed a significant police force at the protest site. Despite the heavy deployment of police personnel, Pappu Yadav along with his supporters managed to enter the station premises and sat on the railway tracks to put a halt to the railway functioning.

With this, Pappu Yadav has vowed to continue the agitation until justice is delivered, including taking the matter to the Supreme Court.

We will go to the Supreme Court on this issue. BPSC has done wrong and it has to cancel the entire examination. We will continue to protest on this matter. Our protest will continue in the future until the paper leak in Bihar and the country is stopped.
