Padma Awards 2024 Honors Venkaiah Naidu and Chiranjeevi, 17 Padma Bhushan, and 110 Padma Shri Awardees

This prestigious accolade comprises 5 distinguished personalities honored with the Padma Vibhushan, 17 with the Padma Bhushan, and a commendable 110 individuals conferred with the Padma Shri.

Among the recipients of the Padma Vibhushan are renowned actress Vyjayanthimala Bali, hailing from the realm of Art in Tamil Nadu.

Another luminary in the field of Art, Konidela Chiranjeevi, from Andhra Pradesh, also graces the list.

M. Venkaiah Naidu, recognized for his outstanding contributions to Public Affairs in Andhra Pradesh, is bestowed with this esteemed award.

The late Bindeshwar Pathak is posthumously honored for his impactful Social Work in Bihar.

Adding to the artistic representation, Padma Subramaniam, a prominent figure in the field of Art from Tamil Nadu, completes the illustrious roster of Padma Vibhushan awardees.

In the Padma Bhushan category, the accolades extend to iconic personalities such as Mithun Chakraborty, a celebrated actor, and Usha Uthup, a renowned singer, acknowledging their significant contributions to their respective fields.

These awards stand as a testament to the exceptional accomplishments and service rendered by these individuals, enriching the diverse tapestry of India’s cultural and societal landscape.
