The Indian Army launched ‘Operation Sindoor’ on Wednesday, striking nine locations deep inside Pakistan in retaliation for the Pahalgam terror attack and declaring on social media, “Justice is served, Jai Hind”
In the aftermath of India’s bold cross-border military response to the Pahalgam terror attack, the Indian Army delivered a formal press conference at 10:30 AM, where they shared operational details of Operation Sindoor, the largest retaliatory strike since the 2019 Balakot airstrikes.

Operation Sindoor, launched in the early hours of May 7, 2025, was a coordinated offensive by the Indian Air Force, missile units, and special forces targeting nine major terrorist hubs in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
According to preliminary military briefings, the strikes focused on critical infrastructure belonging to Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammed in locations such as Muridke, Bahawalpur, Muzaffarabad, and Kotli.
The operation was a direct response to the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam, which killed 26 civilians, mostly Hindu tourists, and injured dozens. Intelligence reports linked the attack to Pakistan-based operatives affiliated with banned terrorist organisations.

On 22 April 2025, five heavily armed terrorists brutally attacked non-Muslim tourists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baisaran Valley.
They killed at least 26 civilians, including a local Muslim who tried to resist them.
The Resistance Front, linked to Lashkar-e-Taiba, initially claimed responsibility, citing opposition to demographic changes in Kashmir.
