‘Op Sindoor Outreach’: Shinde-Led Delegation Concludes UAE Visit; Reaffirms India’s Firm Stance On Terrorism

A high-level all-party parliamentary delegation from India, led by Shiv Sena MP Shrikant Eknath Shinde, successfully concluded its visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Saturday, significantly advancing bilateral cooperation in counter-terrorism as part of India’s global outreach under ‘Operation Sindoor’.

The Embassy of India in the UAE posted on social media that the delegation’s visit further cemented India-UAE cooperation in fighting terrorism ‘in all its forms and manifestations’, highlighting the growing strategic partnership between the two nations.

During their visit, the delegation paid respectful obeisance at prominent religious sites in Abu Dhabi, including the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque, BAPS Hindu Temple, and Guru Nanak Darbar Gurudwara.

These visits underscored a shared message of harmony, tolerance, and peaceful coexistence, values deeply cherished by both India and the UAE.

The Indian leaders met Nikolay Mladenov, Director General of the Anwar Gargash Diplomatic Academy, exchanging views on enhancing counter-terrorism and efforts to combat radicalism between New Delhi and Abu Dhabi.

In addition, the delegation held a productive dialogue with Jamal Mohammed Obaid Al Kaabi, Director General of the UAE’s National Media Office, emphasising the crucial role of media in countering terrorism and extremism.

Connecting With Indian Diaspora & Parliamentary Solidarity

On Thursday, the delegation engaged with members of the Indian diaspora in Abu Dhabi, sharing India’s unified resolve against terrorism and affirming national consensus on security matters.

The delegation also met senior UAE officials, including Sheikh Nahyan Mabarak Al Nahyan, Minister of Tolerance and Co-Existence, and Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi, Chairman of the Defence, Interior and Foreign Affairs Committee of the Federal National Council.

Both expressed full solidarity with India’s stance.

Sheikh Nahyan conveyed his condolences over the April 22 Pahalgam terrorist attack and assured that ‘India and UAE will tackle terrorism together’, affirming the UAE’s steadfast support.

‘Operation Sindoor’ & Bilateral Security

The delegation outlined the precise and measured response of ‘Operation Sindoor’ to the brutal terror attack in Kashmir.

Ali Rashid Al Nuaimi reiterated that India-UAE relations transcend trade and culture to include vital security and strategic cooperation.

“Terrorism is against all humanity; the international community must act decisively now,” Nuaimi emphasised during discussions, underlining the importance of joint efforts.

The Indian delegation included BJP MPs Bansuri Swaraj, Atul Garg, and Manan Kumar Mishra, BJD’s Sasmit Patra, IUML MP ETMohammed Basheer, BJP leader SS Ahluwalia, and former Ambassador Sujan Chinoy.

Their visit marked a pivotal diplomatic effort to expose Pakistan’s sustained support for cross-border terrorism.

The delegation’s successful visit to the UAE signals a new phase in India’s diplomatic campaign to rally international partners against terrorism.

Strengthening India-UAE cooperation under ‘Operation Sindoor’, the visit highlighted India’s firm resolve and the shared global responsibility to combat terrorism.
