A boat carrying nine pilgrims capsized in the Sarayu River on Friday, resulting in the disappearance of a 29-year-old woman, identified as Kashish.
According to Ayodhya Senior Superintendent of Police Raj Karan Nayyar, the accident occurred when the boat, which was equipped with life jackets for all passengers, collided with another boat while attempting a turn on the river. Despite the fact that all passengers were wearing life jackets, including the missing woman, rescue efforts have thus far been unable to locate her.
