An Indian woman has crossed the border to meet her lover even though the investigation into the background of Seema Haider, a Pakistani national, and her unauthorized entry into India is still ongoing. A married Indian woman from the Bhiwadi region of Rajasthan travelled all the way to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwest Pakistan to visit a man she met and fell in love with there.
The woman, identified as Anju, told her husband Arvind that she was going to Jaipur for a few days. But on Sunday, Arvind came to know via media that Anju had gone across the border. Anju reportedly communicated with them via WhatsApp, according to Arvind. On Sunday at around 4 p.m., she gave him a call to let him know that she was in Lahore and would be back in two to three days.
Arvind said that he was aware of the Pakistani lover of Anju and expressed the hope that his wife would return to him. Anju works as a biodata entry operator at a private company, and Arvind works in Bhiwadi. She had her passport created in 2020 since she intended to apply for a job abroad.

The couple got married after Anju converted to Christianity to be with Arvind. They also have 2 children. Nasrullah and Anju became friends on FacebookAnju being utterly and deeply in love with Nasrullah stated that she cannot live without him. She was initially in police custody but was released after her travel documents were verified. Reportedly, Anju had also bought a new SIM to go to Pakistan, whose number she had not even given to her husband.
However, unlike Seema who entered India without a visa via Nepal with her four children all aged below seven years, Anju has traveled to Pakistan legally from India via the Wagah-Attari border.
In a conversation with media Anju’s husband revealed that he trusted his wife blindly. He never checked her phone. He said, “…I have no idea why has she gone to Lahore and how did she manage to get the VISA and other stuff. I usually don’t touch my wife’s phone to check her messages. This is not connected to Seema Haider’s case as my wife had all the documents. She informed me that she will return within 2-3 days…”
Further her husband has appealed the government, “… I appeal to the government that if she has all legal documents then she should be allowed to come back.”
