Noida Woman Hires Men To Kill Daughter-In-Law After Being Disappointed With Son’s Marriage

Three persons, including two contract murderers, were allegedly detained by the Noida Police on Friday after they broke into the home of a 27-year-old lady earlier this week and fatally shot her. Within 72 hours, the police had solved the murder case.

The victim’s 42-year-old mother-in-law is one of the three suspects who have been taken into custody. According to the authorities, she reportedly organised the murder because she was against the marriage.

On the afternoon of September 5, two unidentified males who arrived on a motorbike fatally murdered Mausam Kumar’s wife Soni inside their Brij Vihar colony home.
Mausam Kumar reported the suspected murder to the police after Soni’s second marriage, believing that her ex-husband might have been responsible for the crime.

Senior cops arrived at the scene shortly after the occurrence, and an inquiry was started. The case was resolved after the formation of four police teams. According to Deputy Commissioner of Police (Central Noida) Suniti, three persons have been detained.

The investigator told reporters that Soni’s mother-in-law Geeta Devi, who hired Sachin Yadav and Umesh Singh (both locals) for Rs. 1 lakh, was the principal conspirator in the case.
The police said that Geeta Devi was not pleased with her son’s union with Soni, who had a daughter from a previous union.

After marrying Soni, Mausam Kumar left his mother’s Ghaziabad residence. Geeta Devi said that her son was neglecting her and was more concerned about his new family when the couple moved to Badalpur, close to Noida, but the couple withheld the address from her, the officer stated.

Around 8 on Friday morning, the police said they were able to apprehend Sachin and Umesh after receiving a tip from an informant. Following their detention, the two exposed the entire plot, which resulted in Geeta Devi’s detention at her residence.

After the shootout on September 5, Sachin and Umesh, according to what he told the police, hid the gun next to a mulberry tree not far from the village of Duriyai Girdharpur.

“He assisted in finding the weapon when Sachin was brought to the location to retrieve it. He abruptly retrieved the service weapon from a sub-inspector as he was being returned to the police station and pointed it towards the responding officers. Sachin was injured on his left leg as a result of my self-defense gunshot, and he was then hauled back into custody, according to Badalpur SHO Brahmpal Singh.

According to sources, the police department has offered a reward of 25,000 for the team that solved the blind murder case in less than 72 hours.
