The police reported that a large fire broke out in a tent warehouse in Greater Noida on Friday, damaging goods worth lakhs of rupees. They added that the cause of the fire is yet unknown.
According to the police, the incident happened on Friday night at around 10:00 in the Greater Noida area of Khairpur Gurjar.
Ten fire extinguishers, according to the authorities, were used to put out the blaze under Ecotech 3 police station.
The security officer stationed at the facility reportedly informed police of the incident before police units and four fire brigade trucks arrived on the scene.
The fire was put out after a laborious four-hour effort, according to Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar Chaubey. No fatalities have been reported, but thousands of dollars worth of warehouse products have been reduced to ashes.

“A massive fire had broken out at the tent warehouse on Friday night,” said Suniel Dutt, SHO of Ecotech 3 police station. Although a short circuit is thought to have started the incident, the exact reason for it is yet unknown, and an investigation is under progress.

An official reported on Saturday night that a large fire had started at a factory in the Anand Vihar neighbourhood of New Delhi. The source added that there were no immediate deaths or injuries related to the fire. As soon as the information was received, the fire tenders were sent to the scene to put out the fire.
