In an ongoing crackdown against crime, Noida Police successfully arrested a miscreant following an encounter in Sector-39. The police recovered a pistol and cartridges from the scene after the accused was injured during a gunfight.
According to reports, the incident began when a youth named Raja, residing in Sector-46, lured a 5-year-old girl who was playing outside her home. He took her to a nearby forest with wrong intentions. Upon hearing the girl’s cries for help, local residents rushed to the area, causing Raja to flee.

The girl’s family quickly filed a complaint at the Sector-39 police station, and an FIR was registered against Raja. The police then launched an investigation and began searching for the accused.
Acting on a tip-off, Noida Police intensified their search in the forests of Sector-42 late last night. When the police approached Raja, he opened fire at the officers. In retaliation, the police fired back, injuring the accused. Raja was subsequently arrested and taken into custody.
The police have begun further action against the arrested individual. A detailed investigation into his criminal history is underway. Authorities are also exploring the full extent of his involvement in any prior criminal activities.
This incident highlights Noida Police’s continued efforts to combat crime and ensure the safety of citizens through swift and decisive action.
