Noida Airport Will Drive ‘Viksit Uttar Pradesh’ Vision, Says PM Narendra Modi

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday stated that the Noida International Airport represents a decisive stride towards achieving a ‘Viksit Uttar Pradesh’, adding that it will energise youth aspirations and regional growth. He inaugurated the landmark aviation project in Jewar, underscoring its importance in expanding India’s aviation capacity.

During the visit, PM Modi also reviewed an exhibition detailing the airport’s development journey, accompanied by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.

Addressing a large gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted the enthusiasm among young attendees. He noted that the project will elevate opportunities for the youth and open new avenues for growth.

The Prime Minister described the inauguration as the beginning of a new chapter in the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat’ and ‘Viksit UP’. He emphasised that Uttar Pradesh now ranks among the states with the highest number of international airports.

PM Modi expressed gratitude to citizens for allowing him to both lay the foundation stone and inaugurate the project, calling it a shared achievement. He stated that regions including Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Meerut, Etawah, Bulandshahr, and Faridabad will benefit significantly.

The airport will generate opportunities for farmers, small enterprises, and youth, while enhancing global connectivity.

Referring to the West Asia crisis, PM Modi noted that several nations face shortages of essential commodities such as fuel and fertilisers.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi affirmed that India is taking necessary steps to shield citizens and farmers from external economic pressures, despite dependence on energy imports.
