Reliance Foundation chairperson Nita M Ambani graced the red carpet alongside three World Cup-winning captains — Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur and Deepika TC — at the ‘United in Triumph’ initiative held in Mumbai on Monday.
The event celebrated the achievements of India’s men’s, women’s and blind cricket teams, bringing them together under one roof for a special evening of recognition.
Addressing the gathering, Nita Ambani said, “All three cricket teams, the men’s cricket team, the women’s cricket team and the blind cricket team of India are all here under one roof, and on behalf of every Indian, we are going to honour them tonight for giving us so much joy and happiness.”
Powerful visuals marked the event, reflecting emotion, struggle and triumph.
Iconic images captured the victorious Indian Blind Women’s Cricket Team, select members of the ICC World T20 championship-winning Indian team, and the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup-winning Indian cricket team alongside Nita Ambani, Amitabh Bachchan, Sachin Tendulkar and Jay Shah.
These moments highlighted not only sporting excellence but also a spirit of inclusion and collective celebration, as athletes from different formats and abilities received honours for their contributions to Indian cricket.
The ‘United in Triumph’ initiative underscored the message of unity, resilience and national pride through sport.
