Next Generation GST Reform Conclave To Explore India’s Future Tax Framework In Lucknow

The upcoming Next Generation GST Reform Conclave in Lucknow will spotlight India’s evolving tax architecture under the Goods and Services Tax (GST) regime.

Organised by MLA Dr Rajeshwar Singh, the event aims to deliberate on future reforms, digital integration, and the next phase of transparency within India’s taxation framework.

Dr Singh stated that the conclave aims to build on the vision of ‘One Nation, One Tax’, introduced under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

He added that the GST has revolutionised India’s tax system by simplifying processes and promoting transparency. He further stated that it has accelerated the nation’s economic growth.

The event will feature participation from tax professionals, industry leaders, chartered accountants, and policymakers.

These stakeholders will discuss mechanisms to enhance efficiency and fairness in the GST system. They will also work to ensure that India’s tax administration remains business-friendly and technologically advanced.

Uttar Pradesh’s Finance and Parliamentary Affairs Minister, Mr Suresh Khanna, will grace the occasion as the chief guest. He will highlight the state’s role in implementing and strengthening GST-related initiatives across various sectors in his address.

The conclave will also focus on digital integration as a core driver of next-generation tax reforms. Experts will share insights on how digital tools can streamline compliance, improve data accuracy, and reduce procedural complexities for businesses.

Dr Rajeshwar Singh will host the event at Hotel Mercure, Shaheed Path, near Phoenix Palassio Mall, Lucknow, on October 14, 2025, at 6:30 PM, and he has invited media representatives from print and electronic platforms to cover the deliberations.

Dr Rajeshwar Singh aims to advance India’s journey towards a more transparent and efficient tax ecosystem. This dialogue-driven initiative also promotes the adoption of technology to strengthen the country’s taxation framework.
