NEET Paper Leak: Probe Unveils Underworld Of Exam Mafia

In a shocking development into the probe of NEET paper leak investigative agency reached to nexus of exam mafia that functions across the nation. Economic offenses Unit(EoU) of Bihar police police found out an underworld engaged in paper leaks resulting to spate of cancellation of exams, spread across the states.

According to information shared by a news agency, EoU, during the probe, found out the mastermind of the paper leaks. An accused named Sanjeev Mukhiya is leading the nexus who is yet to be arrested.

The gang works on different level. Among the 19 arrested in the NEET paper leak case, Amit Anand and Nitish Kumar are the level 2 players who serves to Sanjeev Mukhiya.

Previously, in Meerut, UP, Nitish and Amit began working for the Ravi Atri gang under Atul Vats and Anshul Singh.

Nitish and Amit, who worked for Sanjeev Mukhiya would pass the exam for financial favours. After the applicants were identified, they sought out “solvers”—people who could respond to the question papers.

These two accused have allegedly been involved in this unlawful activity for a long time and have played a “big role” in the NEET paper leak.

Sanjeev Mukhiya of Bihar has allegedly previously participated in the paper leak of examinations held by the Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC), Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC), and other organisations. Ravi Atri is reportedly a well-known figure in medical examination question paper leaks.

Mechanism behind the NEET paper leak

Nitish and Amit looked for candidates by making agreements between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 40 lakh.

Rakesh Ranjan, also known as Rocky, is another person for whom the EOU is searching. It is stated that he reserved rooms at Learn Play School Patna for thirty to thirty-five aspirants. According to rumours, Sanjeev Mukhiya, the mastermind, is Rocky’s nephew.

citing to the EoU, sources revealed that Rocky got the question paper from Sanjeev Mukhiya. Later He got it solved by medical students.

Another name that emerged in the case is Sikandar Yadavendu. Sikandar is also said to be close to Sanjeev Mukhiya.

Sanjeev Mukhiya and Sikander Yadvendu have known each other for a long time. Sanjeev’s son Shiv Kumar studied at Patna Medical College and Hospital (PMCH) and Sikandar’s elder daughter also did MBBS from the same institution.

Shiv is the main accused in the teacher recruitment exam paper leak case and is in jail.
