In a major political event, around 20 Chief Ministers and 18 Deputy Chief Ministers from NDA-ruled states will gather in New Delhi on Sunday for a day-long session focused on ‘Good Governance’.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will chair the conclave, which is being coordinated by the BJP’s Good Governance Department.
BJP President JP Nadda, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, and Union Home Minister Amit Shah will also attend the session.
Vinay Sahasrabuddhe, who heads the BJP Good Governance Department, confirmed that the conclave will adopt two key resolutions.
The first will praise the Indian Armed Forces and Prime Minister Modi for the successful execution of Operation Sindoor, a recent military strike against terror camps in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK).
The second resolution will support the Central government’s decision to conduct caste enumeration in the upcoming national census, highlighting its political and social relevance.
Throughout the session, NDA Chief Ministers will present their flagship governance initiatives.
These presentations aim to promote the exchange of best practices and inspire replication of successful models across states.
The meeting seeks to strengthen coordination and showcase the NDA’s governance track record ahead of key political milestones.
The conclave will also discuss upcoming national and party events. Leaders will plan the NDA govt’s 1st anniversary, 10 years of Yoga Day, and 50 years since the 1975 Emergency.
Political analysts see the conclave as a strategic moment for the NDA to project a unified stance on national security, governance, and socio-political reform.
With Operation Sindoor as a backdrop, the alliance aims to reaffirm its commitment to performance-driven leadership.
By aligning state and central leadership on key issues, the BJP-led NDA hopes to send a strong message of unity, efficiency, and national resolve.
