Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) president Sharad Pawar made a big announcement on Saturday as Praful Patel and Supriya Sule are all set to be the new working presidents of the party.

Pawar announces new working presidents of NCP

The NCP supremo made the announcement at the silver jubilee(25th anniversary) of the party, founded by him and P A Sangma in 1999. Moreover, the latest decision was taken in the presence of Ajit Pawar, a key player in NCP.

Last Month, Mr Pawar withdrew his shocking resignation as the national party chief after emotional party workers protested against his decision.

“I can’t disrespect your sentiments. Due to your love, I am respecting the demand that was made to me to withdraw my resignation and the resolution that was passed by senior NCP leaders. I withdraw my decision to step down as the national president of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP),” Mr Pawar said.

Further, the NCP convener said that he intends to put more effort into the fields of education, agriculture, cooperation, sports and culture, amongst others and also pay attention to issues related to the youth, students, workers, Dalits, tribals and other weaker sections of the society.
