PM Modi UAE Visit Live: Prime Minister Narendra Modi embarked on a significant two-day visit to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Tuesday, where he was warmly greeted at the airport by President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. Their exchange was marked by a heartfelt embrace, followed by a ceremonial guard of honour.
During their extensive discussions, the two leaders assessed the status of their strategic partnership, explored avenues for enhanced cooperation, and oversaw the signing of several pivotal agreements, including a bilateral investment treaty.
Expressing gratitude, Prime Minister Modi extended his appreciation to Al Nahyan for his unwavering support and generosity in allocating land for the construction of the nation’s inaugural Hindu stone temple. Scheduled for inauguration on Tuesday, the Bochasanwasi Shri Akshar Purushottam Swaminarayan Sanstha (BAPS) Mandir stands in Abu Dhabi’s Abu Mureikhah vicinity, near Al Rahba, adjacent to the Dubai-Abu Dhabi Sheikh Zayed Highway. Spanning approximately 27 acres, the temple’s construction has been underway since 2019, made possible by the land donation from the UAE government.
