Narendra Modi Swearing-In For The Third Term Today: Details Here

After announcing the Lok Sabha results and unanimously electing Narendra as the leader in the NDA allies meeting, Narendra Modi Swearing-In today. Narendra Modi will swear by the constitution to fulfill the responsibilities of PM for the third consecutive term.

The swearing-in-ceremony will take place in the evening today as President Murmu had invited him to form the government.

President Draupadi Murmu appointed Modi as PM-designate on Friday after BJP Chief JP Nadda handed her a letter. The letter stated that Modi has been elected as the NDA Parliamentary Party and the NDA leaders have extended support.

The president will swear in the Prime Minister and other members of the Union Council of Ministers. The ceremony will take place today at Rashtrapati Bhavan at 7:15 p.m. on Sunday, according to a press release.

The BJP-led National Democratic Alliance, under the leadership of Modi, will form the government for the third time.

Narendra Modi became the Prime Minister Of India for the third time in 2014 after securing a Majority against the Congress-led UPA.

Before forming the government in the center, Modi served as CM of Gujarat for three consecutive terms. He has also had association with Sangh and BJP from an early age.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi met President Murnu on June 5 and submitted his resignation. President Draupadi Murmu received the resignation of Union Council Ministers on the same day.

Sunday will see Delhi on high alert as SAARC leaders prepare to attend the meeting. There is already strict security at certain upscale hotels, such as the Oberoi, Leela, Taj, ITC Maurya, and Claridges. Police officials have been coordinating the dignitaries’ transportation between their hotels and the location for safety purposes.
