The newly constructed Namo Ghat stands as a testament to a harmonious fusion of tradition and modernity, designed to cater to faith, tourism, and employment. Spanning an impressive 1.5 kilometers from Namo Ghat to Adikeshav Ghat, the reconstruction of this world-class monument came at a considerable cost of 91.06 crores.

Drawing attention with its architecturally rich design and international-grade facilities, the ghat boasts a distinctive ‘Namaste’ sculpture that has become an iconic symbol. Tourists are captivated by the unique offering of being the first ghat seamlessly connecting water, land, and air, making it accessible even for helicopters.

Going beyond the conventional, the ghat features a designated yoga area, water sports facilities, a children’s play area, and a cafeteria, making it an inclusive space for differently-abled individuals.

The meticulous reconstruction unfolded in two phases, financially supported by the Indian Oil Foundation, with a total expenditure of 91.06 crores. The ‘Namaste’ sculpture, standing at an impressive 25 feet and its smaller 15-foot counterpart, pays homage to the sun and has become a defining feature of Namo Ghat.
