Mumbai: CEO Kidnapped At Gunpoint By Shiv Sena MLA’s Son

Raj Surve, the son of Shiv Sena MLA Prakash Surve, is facing legal action following allegations of kidnapping and assaulting a businessman, as confirmed by the police.

The victim, a 36-year-old CEO of a music company in Mumbai, reportedly endured a kidnapping incident at his office. Subsequently, law enforcement successfully rescued him after a pursuit.

The police have filed a case, naming Raj Surve, Manoj Mishra (the proprietor of Adi Shakti Private Limited music company), and a minimum of 10 other individuals in the First Information Report (FIR).

As detailed in the FIR, the victim was forcibly abducted, taken to the MLA’s office, and coerced at gunpoint to sign certain documents. Local law enforcement stepped in after being alerted to the situation and successfully liberated the victim. Consequently, charges were pressed under the Kidnapping and Arms Act.

According to the police, unidentified individuals entered the CEO’s office within the Chintamani Classique complex in the Goregaon suburb of Mumbai. The victim was abducted with threats invoking the names of a political figure and another individual with whom he had a financial dispute.

CCTV footage revealed a group of 10-15 people forcefully entering the office, attacking the staff, and forcefully escorting one person away. The perpetrators left the scene in two vehicles along with the victim. An office employee promptly contacted the police control room to report the incident.

Swift police action ensued, leading to the pursuit and eventual location of the vehicle in Dahisar (East) in northern Mumbai.

This case centres around a ₹ 8 crore loan extended to the owner of a YouTube channel named Adishakti Films, under the premise that the funds would be utilized for content creation. The channel owner is alleged to have failed to repay the borrowed amount and is accused of using this incident as a pretext to annul the agreement.
