Mulayam Singh Yadav’s Son Prateek Yadav Passes Away At 38

On Wednesday, Prateek Yadav, son of late Samajwadi Party leader Mulayam Singh Yadav and husband of BJP politician Aparna Yadav, passed away in Lucknow at the age of 38.

According to hospital sources, Prateek was taken to the Civil Hospital early in the morning by family members. Doctors later declared him dead on arrival.

Reports stated that Aparna Yadav was not present at the hospital during that time.

Prateek was the stepbrother of former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav.

Medical officials said a post-mortem examination would be conducted at King George’s Medical University to determine the exact cause of death. Initial observations reportedly found no external injury marks on the body.

Sources close to the family said Prateek had been facing serious lung-related health complications for a long period and was undergoing treatment for a blood clot in his lungs. His condition reportedly worsened on Wednesday morning, following which he was rushed to the hospital.

Earlier this year, Prateek had attracted public attention through social media posts. In those posts, he spoke about difficulties in his marriage with Aparna Yadav.

In one post, Prateek had spoken about emotional stress and claimed he was dealing with mental health struggles. He later stated that their relationship had improved.

Prateek Yadav and Aparna Yadav married in 2011 and have two children.
